On March 12, the High-Quality Development Conference of Chancheng District, Foshan City, was held, at which the New Economy Development Bureau was officially inaugurated.
It is the first district-level new economy development bureau in Guangdong Province. It will stimulate the vitality of new technologies and industries through institutional reform, and build a fertile ground for the development of the new economy.
The main functions of the bureau are to formulate plans for new economy development, conduct policy coordination and cutting-edge research, improve the supply of systems and application scenarios, and establish an accommodating regulatory mechanism.
It will also provide services for the platform economy, promote cooperation and project implementation, strengthen the cultivation of new economic market entities, coordinate resource connections, and carry out the gradient cultivation of new economic enterprises.
