The 8th Indonesia International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo opened in Jakarta on August 5. A total of 20 local enterprises from Zhanjiang exhibited diversified products such as smart kitchen appliances, small household appliances for daily use and water treatment equipment. Several intelligent and scenario-oriented new products made their debut at the expo, fully demonstrating Zhanjiang’s comprehensive supporting capabilities across the home appliance supply chain, from core components to finished products.
Zhanjiang’s total import and export volume with Indonesia reached 2.316 billion yuan in 2024 and 2.461 billion yuan in 2025. Eight Zhanjiang-based enterprises have invested in 12 projects in Indonesia, with contracted Chinese investment exceeding 370 million US dollars, while six Indonesian-funded enterprises have been established in Zhanjiang.
During the signing ceremony, three Indonesian enterprises sealed trade deals worth 34 million US dollars with Zhanjiang’s local firms, covering the procurement of small home appliances, supporting services for mechanical equipment and cross-border logistics.
