Huizhou's air quality ranks 4th nationwide in H1

Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment released the national environmental air quality report for January to June 2025. According to the report, Huizhou ranked 4th nationwide and 1st in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region in the air quality assessment of 168 key Chinese cities.

In the national rankings for PM2.5 concentration among key cities, Huizhou also secured a spot among the top 20 cities with the lowest levels, placing 5th nationwide. This reflects the city's effective and ongoing measures in controlling PM2.5 pollution.

Additional data shows that during the first half of this year, the proportion of days with "good" or "excellent" air quality in Huizhou reached 96.1%. Based on the comprehensive air quality index across its counties and districts, Longmen County (2.07) and Huidong County (2.46) exhibited relatively optimal air quality performance.
