The first Macao SAR Government Services Center on the mainland officially opened in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin on September 16. The center enables Macao residents and enterprises to access 63 public services without having to cross the border.
The center is located on the second floor of the Cooperation Zone's Government Services Center. Covering approximately 300 square meters, it houses service counters from four Macao SAR government departments: the Identification Services Bureau, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau, the Financial Services Bureau and the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau. The services cover areas such as identification, taxation, industrial property and pharmaceutical affairs.
Specifically, the services currently available include identification documents, residency certificates and travel documents provided by the Identification Services Bureau; trademark and invention patent registration applications handled by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau; professional tax and property tax services provided by the Financial Services Bureau; and product classification services offered by the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau.
The center operates from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The consultation hotline is 0756-2990166. Macao residents and enterprises can make online appointments through the "Macao One Account" app or the "Business & Associations Platform" app.
