Your complete transportation guide to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport's new Terminal 3

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport's Terminal 3 (T3) officially opens on October 30, 2025, marking a major upgrade for one of China's busiest aviation hubs. Here's your complete travel guide for arriving, departing, and transferring at the brand-new terminal.

Getting to T3

Passengers heading to catch a flight can drive to "T3 Departures." Those opting for public transport can take Metro Line 3 to Gaozeng Station, then transfer to the T3 shuttle bus, which runs every 15 minutes.

Travelers can also reach the terminal via the Guangdong Intercity Railway at Baiyun Airport East Station, which is directly linked to the new Transportation Center in T3.

Arriving at T3

For arrivals, taxis are available at Gate 72, while airport buses connect to downtown Guangzhou and neighboring cities.

E-hailing pickups are arranged at Parking Lot P12, and private vehicles may use Lots P11 and P12 for parking.

Transferring Between T1, T2, and T3

For those needing to transfer between terminals, a free 24-hour shuttle bus links T1, T2, and T3. The shuttle departs every 10–30 minutes, depending on the time of day, and stops at Gate 12 (T1), Gate 42 (T2), and Gate 62 (T3).

Passengers can also transfer by intercity trains, which run every 17 minutes.
