Dragon boat racing is one of the most beloved water sports, with deep local roots. How can newcomers get a taste of this traditional sport?
David Butler, General Manager of Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Team, from the UK, shares his experience of joining water sports communities in Guangdong.
He says dragon boating is a great opportunity to meet and participate with a group of people that you would probably never have much contact with. They come from all over the world and all over China, with completely different jobs, backgrounds, and ages.
