The first offline Macao Government Services Center on the Chinese mainland will officially open on September 16 at the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
The new Macao Government Services Center, located on the second floor of the cooperation zone's Government Services Center, will allow Macao residents and enterprises to access the same offline government services in Hengqin as those available in Macao, further reducing the cost of cross-border processing.

In its first phase, the center will house four Macao departments: the Identification Services Bureau, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau, the Financial Services Bureau and the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau.
It will offer 58 frequently used offline government services from Macao, covering areas such as identification, trademarks, taxation and pharmaceutical affairs, closely matching the daily needs of Macao residents and businesses in Hengqin.
The center will operate under a model combining regular on-site services by Macao civil servants with consultation and application collection by staff of the cooperation zone.
During scheduled on-site service periods, staff from the relevant Macao departments will be present weekly to accept and handle Macao-related applications. At other times, staff from the Commercial Services Bureau of the cooperation zone will provide consultation and collect application materials.
