Guangzhou Baiyun Int'l Airport relocates int'l flights from T1 to T3

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has postponed the planned closure of Terminal 1 (T1), relocating international flights currently operating from T1 to the new Terminal 3 (T3). Most domestic flights will continue to operate from T1 for the time being, with the exception of Spring Airlines.

Under the updated plan, starting at 11:30 Beijing time on January 22, international flights operated by 30 foreign carriers, as well as international services by China Eastern, Hainan Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, and Spring Airlines, will move to T3. More→

90-day GBA Lantern Carnival to be held in Guangzhou's Nansha 

The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Lantern Carnival will kick off in Nansha, Guangzhou, on February 10 and run for a total of 90 days until May 10. This grand cultural event will feature five thematic zones, hundreds of large-scale lantern installations, thousands of performances, and tens of thousands of exquisite lanterns.
