The Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin officially launched the second round of applications in 2026 for the recognition of Macao youth entrepreneurial enterprises on July 27, with the submission deadline set for August 7.
The application covers both the certification of the Macao youth entrepreneurial enterprises and an extra two-year rent relief for firms that have already enjoyed 36 months of support.

Enterprises that have already benefited from the zone's support measures for a cumulative period of 36 months are eligible to apply for an extra two years of rent relief subject to a review process. To qualify for this extension, the enterprise must already be recognised and publicly listed as a Macao youth entrepreneurial enterprise and meet at least one of the following criteria.
The enterprise may have been included in the cooperation zone's list of enterprises above designated size and continues to meet that statistical threshold during the rent-relief period, excluding those in real estate development.
Alternatively, it may have won a national or provincial innovation and entrepreneurship competition award, received at least 500,000 yuan in non-repayable or repayable funding from the Macao SAR government, or been certified as a national high-tech enterprise.
In addition, the enterprise may qualify if it has accumulated angel or venture capital investment exceeding 3 million yuan, achieved a two-year cumulative operating revenue of more than 6 million yuan, or been listed or traded on domestic or international capital markets.
