Compared to the 2022 version, the new document features a net increase of 205 items and includes 303 modifications. Guangdong unveils new plan to optimize international business environment

Guangdong will optimize cross-border trade services and advance the construction of smart ports. Leveraging the National International Trade "Single Window" platform, it will improve the cross-border trade big data platform to further expand the functions of port logistics, finance, and trade facilitation.

The province will ease market access for foreign investment, building on the demonstration effect of Guangzhou and Shenzhen as comprehensive national pilot zones for expanding the opening-up of the service sector. It will promote further opening up in fields including healthcare, telecommunications, finance, and education.

Guangdong will enhance services for foreign-invested enterprises by leveraging policies such as those supporting multinational corporations' regional headquarters, headquarters upgrading incentives, and incentives for establishing foreign-funded R&D centers. By 2026, it aims to certify a new batch of multinational corporations and foreign-funded R&D centers. More→

International commercial court established in Guangzhou

The court has exclusive jurisdiction over foreign-related commercial cases, including the first and second instance cases under the jurisdiction of the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court, arbitration in judicial review cases, cases confirming foreign-related mediation agreements, cases reviewing applications for the recognition and enforcement of civil and commercial judgments, and rulings from foreign courts. Zhuhai launches intercity railway pet consignment service

Zhuhai Station of the Guangzhou–Zhuhai Intercity Railway launched pet consignment services starting January 28. Pets will be placed in transport crates and carried in a separate express cargo compartment on the train, with staff monitoring them throughout the journey. Zhuhai Station offers both online and offline reservation channels. Passengers without a ticket can make a reservation by calling the 95572 hotline 2 to 5 days in advance. More→
