Since its London premiere in 1995, Matthew Bourne's bold reinterpretation of Swan Lake has become a milestone in contemporary ballet. By replacing the traditional female corps de ballet with an all-male ensemble of swans, Bourne injects raw power and psychological depth into Tchaikovsky's masterpiece.

Opera: La Traviata

The Greek National Opera will stage Verdi's classic opera La Traviata in Shenzhen, featuring nearly 150 performers across orchestra, chorus, and ballet. The production vividly recreates 19th-century Paris with opulent sets, elegant costumes, and carefully crafted props. Combined with stunning stage and audiovisual effects, it tells the tragic love story of Violetta and Alfredo, immersing audiences in a rich historical and emotional experience.

Drama: Uncle Vanya

Directed by world-renowned theater director Rimas Tuminas and performed by the century-old Vakhtangov Theater, this adaptation of Chekhov's classic explores Vanya's admiration and disillusionment with the professor, his longing and disappointment in love, and his ultimate quest for life's meaning. Veteran Russian actor Sergey Makovetsky brings Vanya's obsessive passion and despair to life in his performance.

Musical: Molière

Molière, an acclaimed musical from France, will light up Guangdong's stages with six consecutive performances this autumn. Blending rap, urban music, and contemporary street dance, the show vividly chronicles the life of the legendary playwright. Across 150 captivating minutes, audiences will journey alongside Molière, from a 20-year-old dreamer to a theatrical icon, experiencing his creative struggles, triumphs, and tragic finale.

Contemporary Art Exhibition of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

This exhibition assembles elaborate works by nearly 40 artists from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
