From August 6 to 10, the 16th China International Animation Copyright Fair (ACTIF) returns to Dongguan's ACTIF Center in Shipai Town. This year's event brings together over 2,200 animation, film and toy IPs from around the world. Visitors can enjoy cosplay parades, robot performances, family activities and plenty of opportunities to explore Shipai's local attractions and cuisine.

Meet popular cosplayers
Popular cosplayers, anime creators and online influencers will appear throughout the fair for stage performances, parades, signings and meet-and-greets. You may even run into your favorite creators while exploring the exhibition halls.
Watch robots steal the show
See robots perform live as a band and even mix drinks alongside robotic bartenders. Blending animation with technology, these performances are fun for visitors of all ages.
Enjoy all-day performances
Featuring idol dance shows, anime concerts, voice-acting performances and live bands, the fair offers a packed lineup of entertainment throughout the five-day event.
Snap photos with giant mechas
Keep an eye out for towering China-chic mecha, popular character mascots and strolling performers. Five themed photo spots around the venue also make perfect backdrops for your ACTIF photos.
Bring the whole family
Families can enjoy screenings of the animated film "Reggie Rex," hands-on science activities, and interactive experiences with the animated character "Ha Xiaolang".
Collect stamps and win prizes
Visit participating exhibitors, collect 10 stamps and share your photos on social media to join a lucky draw featuring more than 20,000 prizes, including garage kits and exclusive merchandise.

Explore Shipai after the fair
Shipai Art Toy Creative Market (石排潮玩创意集市)
Located near ACTIF Center, the market hosts a fish-bone rice food culture carnival, adding more fun for animation fans and families. Visitors can explore art toy displays, join stamp-collecting activities and taste Shipai's specialty fish-bone rice noodles, making it a fun stop after the fair.

Tangwei Ancient Village (塘尾古村落)
Tangwei Ancient Village features red sandstone lanes lined with ancestral halls, traditional houses and intricate brick, wood and stone carvings dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Visitors can explore the Li Clan Ancestral Hall, browse local pottery studios or simply wander the photogenic alleys.
After exploring the village, stop by a local dessert shop for a bowl of sweet mung bean soup and luobo ban (radish rice cakes). Nearby restaurants also serve Shipai specialties such as braised goose, fish balls, boiled fish and local sausages, making it an ideal place to enjoy authentic Dongguan flavors.

Hongshishan Yanling Ancient Quarry Ruins Park (红石山燕岭古采石场遗址公园)
Built around the remains of a historic sandstone quarry, this free park blends red rock cliffs with lakeside walking trails and Lingnan-style pavilions. Visit in the late afternoon when the setting sun turns the sandstone a vivid crimson.

Songhubei Wetland Park (松湖北湿地公园)
Located along the Dongjiang River, this wetland park features riverside boardwalks, viewing platforms and shaded picnic areas. The elevated walkway offers sweeping views of the wetlands and surrounding river landscape.
The park's iconic bridge lights up at sunset, creating one of Shipai's most popular night views and a great spot for photography.

Taihe Middle Road Food Street (太和中路)
Looking for local flavors? Head to Taihe Middle Road, where long-established eateries serve roast goose, roast duck, boiled fish, fish-bone rice noodles, beef offal and taro cakes, alongside traditional dessert shops.
