Get ready to dive into a literary feast at the 2025 Southern China Book Fair from August 15 to 19! Covering approximately 40,000 square meters, this year's event offers book lovers and culture seekers the latest global titles, rich cultural experiences, and opportunities to meet renowned literary masters face-to-face.

4 themed halls & 24 special pavilions

Featuring 24 special pavilions and four interactive zones, this year's main venue is divided into four major themed halls: Read the World, Read the Future, Read the Life, and Read Guangzhou. From global bestsellers to the latest releases, visitors can enjoy books at discounts starting from 40% off.

In the "Read the World" hall, visitors can explore literary masterpieces such as Classic of Mountains and Seas, Bill Gates' autobiography Source Code, Han Kang's We Do Not Part, Percival Everett's James, and bestselling British fantasy author Katherine Rundell's Impossible Creatures and The Poisoned King. The pavilion also features the 10th anniversary edition of Kristin Hannah's The Nightingale, along with global hits like Stranger Things and Atomic Habits.

The hall offers not only world-class literature but also rich cultural experiences. Visitors can enjoy Vietnamese coffee-making and local snacks at the Vietnam Pavilion, try Baba Nyonya porcelain painting and 24 Festive Drums at the Southeast Asia Pavilion, and savor desserts and wine at the Europe Pavilion. The Arab Pavilion hosts Qatari coffee ceremonies and dance shows, while the Central Asia Pavilion features traditional music and food tastings. Art lovers can browse classic international records at the International Art Pavilion, and the IP Licensing and Millet Culture Exhibition provides an immersive VR experience.

Star-studded lineup of literary figures

The fair gathers renowned writers and cultural figures from around the world. Visitors can participate in a sharing session with American author Wendelin Van Draanen, known for Flipped. Book signings will highlight Evan Kail's new release Through The Storm and Laurence Braham's Gate of Nine Dragons—Searching for Kung.

On the Chinese side, award-winning authors Ge Fei, Liang Xiaosheng, and Liu Chuxin join bestselling writers Ma Boyong, Liu Tong, and Zhang Xiaoxian, along with renowned cultural figures like director Wong Jing and musician Han Hong.
