As the 15th National Games (NG) opened on November 9, Shenzhen is hosting key competitions including badminton, swimming, equestrian, and archery. Beyond the thrill of sports, the city's mountains, coastline, and cultural landmarks offer visitors a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

Lianhua Hill Park (莲花山公园)
Known as Shenzhen's "urban living room," Lianhua Hill Park is a favorite for both daily leisure and citywide views. Hiking to the peak, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the city's north-south axis, from Tanglang Mountain in the north to Shenzhen Bay in the south, with the Futian CBD skyscrapers and Civic Center in between.

In autumn, the greenery and gentle breeze enhance the charm of the city. Until November 21, 2025, the annual Shenzhen Bougainvillea Show is underway at the park, filling the hillside with brilliant colors and floral displays. Don't miss out!

Judiaosha Beach (桔钓沙)
Judiaosha Beach, often called the "Maldives of Shenzhen," is a crescent-shaped stretch of white sand surrounded by green hills, with crystal-clear waters shimmering in shades of blue and green. From November 5 to 6, it hosted the marathon swimming events of the 15th National Games, marking the first time this competition took place in natural sea waters.

Coastal walkways connect to the rocky shoreline, perfect for photos or a leisurely stroll. Visitors can also continue along the Rainbow Promenade to explore Yangmeikeng Beach and Luzui Villa nearby.

Qianhai Stone Park (前海石公园)
Qianhai Stone Park's 270° seafront provides a sweeping panorama of the skyline, the Ferris wheel on the opposite shore, and the nearby cross-river highway bridge. The newly added artificial beach features stepped seating and a wavy viewing platform, while the central lawn invites picnics and relaxation. Alongside the beach, dedicated cycling and jogging paths allow visitors to enjoy a breezy stroll by the sea.

As evening falls, this spot becomes a favorite for sunset viewing, where the sun sinks into the sea and the sky gradually fills with soft pink and purple hues, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere.

OH Bay (欢乐港湾)
OH Bay offers a vibrant blend of nature, culture, and leisure. The iconic "Bay Glory" Ferris wheel rises 128 meters above the coast, providing sweeping views of the skyline and sea. Visitors can enjoy the water show, open-air concerts, themed food streets, and trendy bookstores. It's a must-visit for those seeking seaside romance and cityscape views.

Sea World (海上世界)
Sea World is a coastal complex integrating business, leisure, shopping, hotels, and arts. The area's cruise ship Minghua (formerly MV Ancerville), a landmark symbolizing the city's history, reopened as the first immersive theatre cruise in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in October. Visitors can enjoy immersive performances aboard the ship, explore cultural exhibitions, and catch the evening music fountain show. The area is perfect for family outings, cultural exploration, or simply enjoying the night view and sea breeze with a coffee.

Nantou City (南头古城)
With over 1,700 years of history, Nantou City is regarded as an important cultural origin of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
