Starting from October 15th, to make travel easier for international buyers attending the 138th Canton Fair, INFO Guangdong, the province's information service platform, has launched a free one-day metro card program. The initiative allows foreign visitors to move smoothly between Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, the exhibition venues, and the city's attractions, alleviating potential transportation payment issues upon arrival.
The free metro cards are distributed daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at two locations: the International Services Guangzhou in the international arrival area of Terminal 2 and the Canton Fair registration office in Terminal T1 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. A total of 1,000 metro cards are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Through this initiative, INFO Guangdong aims to make travel for international buyers more seamless while offering them a chance to discover the vibrant life of Guangzhou beyond the exhibition halls.
The 138th Canton Fair opened its doors in Guangzhou on October 15 and is now in full swing, welcoming thousands of traders and exhibitors from around the world.
