The 139th Canton Fair will run from April 15 to May 5 in Guangzhou. For direct access to the fair complex, take Metro Line 8 to Pazhou (琶洲) or Xingangdong (新港东) Stations, or Line 11 to Pazhou (琶洲) Station. During the fair, Guangzhou Metro has introduced multiple services to ensure smooth travel for both global buyers and local visitors.

Specific timetable for the Canton Fair
During the first two phases (April 15–28), the following timetable applies to Lines 8, 4, and 11.
Line 8:
To Wanshengwei (万胜围)
First train: 06:23; Last train: 23:54
To Jiaoxin (滘心)
First train: 06:12; Last train: 23:02
On weekdays: 3 additional trains during the morning peak, and 4 during the evening peak.
On weekends: 6 additional off-peak trains, and 10 during peak hours.
Line 4:
Nansha Passenger Port – Huangcun (黄村)
First train: 06:00; Last train: 22:30
Monday–Thursday: 4 additional off-peak trains
Weekends: a short super-peak period from 16:30 to 19:30, with 5 additional trains in operation.
Line 11:
To Yuancun (员村), Outer Ring – Full Route
First train: 06:02; Last train: 21:47
To Chisha (赤沙), Inner Ring – Full Route
First train: 06:11; Last train: 22:53
To Yuancun (员村), Outer Ring – Terminating at Longtan (龙潭)
First train: 06:02; Last train: 23:02
To Chisha (赤沙), Inner Ring – Terminating at Chisha (赤沙)
First train: 06:11; Last train: 00:08
The third phase coincides with the May Day holiday (May 1–5), during which a holiday timetable will be in effect. Passengers can check real-time metro service updates on the Guangzhou Metro app.
With the opening of Chigang Station on Line 12, the eastern section of Line 12, running from Higher Education Mega Center South (大学城南) to Ersha Island (二沙岛), now offers a direct interchange with Line 8. Travelers can easily transfer between Pazhou, Xingangdong, Guangzhou railway stations, airport stations, and downtown via multiple metro lines.

To transfer between Line 8 and Line 11 at Pazhou Station, please use the designated gates for an out-of-station interchange. If you have purchased an intercity period pass or a multi-ride pass via the Guangzhou Metro app, you can use the direct transfer gates at Intercity Pazhou Station to access Line 11. International cards accepted
UnionPay, Mastercard, American Express, Visa, and JCB cards are accepted for travel across the Guangzhou Metro network. POS terminals supporting international cards are available at 11 metro stations, including Pazhou and Xingangdong. Currency exchange services are provided at Xingangdong Station, Guangzhou East Railway Station, and Airport North Station. During peak hours, staff at Xingangdong and Pazhou stations will assist with exchanging small amounts of CNY and guide you in purchasing tickets.

Canton Fair Pass
Three types of Canton Fair passes are available during the fair:
1-day pass – unlimited travel for 24 hours after first validation
3-day pass – unlimited travel for 72 hours after first validation
5-day pass – unlimited travel for 120 hours after first validation
The first two passes can be purchased at metro ticket booths inside the fair complex, or at ticket vending machines and service counters at Pazhou, Xingangdong, Airport South, Airport North, and Guangzhou South Railway Station. But the 5-day pass is available only at ticket booths inside the complex.
More services at key stations
A comprehensive service desk providing consulting, translation, ticketing, emergency aid, and a rest area is available at key stations. Two smart lockers have been installed at Pazhou Station (Line 8). Customer service robots offering bilingual (Chinese and English) assistance are now available at Pazhou and Xingangdong stations.
Guangzhou Metro has also recruited multilingual volunteers in cooperation with local universities, and 78 simultaneous interpretation devices have been deployed at key stations. Service handbooks are provided at Pazhou, Xingangdong, airport stations, and Guangzhou South Railway Station.
