Multiple railways to gradually resume service from midnight, Sept. 25

At 2:00 p.m. on September 24, Typhoon Ragasa, the 18th typhoon of the year, weakened to a severe typhoon. Train services are scheduled to gradually resume tomorrow in phases, according to the China Railway Guangzhou Group.

Starting at midnight on September 25, trains will gradually resume operation on the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Nanning-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Guiyang-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway, Beijing-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway, Ningbo-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Hangzhou-Shenzhen High-Speed Railway, Meizhou-Shantou High-Speed Railway, Longyan-Longchuan High-Speed Railway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Railway, as well as the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway.

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on September 25, services on the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Railway and Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway will gradually resume.

From 5:00 p.m. on September 25, trains on the Jiangmen-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway and Guangzhou-Maoming Railway will gradually resume.

The Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway, suspended since 2:00 p.m. on September 24, is scheduled to gradually resume service from 11:00 a.m. on September 25.
