During the Guangzhou International Light Festival (Nov 16 - 26), some metro stations will suspend services due to the combined impact of the light festival and the 23rd Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou, Nov 21 - 30).

During the light festival, the daily average passenger flow of the Guangzhou Metro network is predicted to reach 9.7 million, and during Auto Guangzhou, it may hit 9.97 million.

From Nov 16 - 20, Lines 3 (including 3 North), 4, 5, 9, and the Guangfo Line will operate on Friday schedules from Monday to Thursday, extending evening peak hours and reducing the minimum headway. From Nov 21 - 30, additional trains on key lines such as Lines 3 (including 3 North), 5, 8, 11, and the APM Line will be added based on passenger flow.

During the light festival, the APM Line's Haixinsha Station will skip stops starting at 18:00 daily, and Guangzhou Opera House Station will do so on Nov 16 (opening day) and from Nov 21 - 23 (Friday - Sunday) at 18:00.

Nearby stations like Guangzhou Tower and Zhujiang New Town may experience high passenger flow. Passenger control measures will be implemented, and trains may skip stops if necessary.
Passengers are advised to check official announcements, plan trips in advance, follow staff guidance during passenger control, and call 96891 for assistance if needed.
