The temporary increase is aimed at supporting business travel linked to the 139th Canton Fair, which runs from April 15 to May 5 in three phases. The event is one of China’s largest trade exhibitions and a key platform for international commerce.
According to the airline, the additional capacity is intended to meet demand from Africa and South America, offering more direct and flexible travel options without the need for transit. Existing daily services on the route will continue alongside the added flights.
