A new air route linking Meizhou and Shanghai was officially launched on March 31, as China Eastern Airlines flight MU6383 landed smoothly at Meizhou Airport at 11:30 a.m. This service marks the airline's first operation at the airport.
The route is scheduled to run three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight MU6383 departs from Shanghai at 9:20 a.m. and arrives in Meizhou at 11:50 a.m., while the return flight MU6384 leaves Meizhou at 12:40 p.m. and lands in Shanghai at 3:00 p.m.
With the new service, Meizhou Airport is now served by five airlines operating five routes. During the current summer-autumn season, the airport connects Meizhou with seven cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Haikou, Wenzhou, Baotou and Changsha, further enhancing regional connectivity.
