Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has added a new international route, linking Guangzhou with Sihanoukville, one of Cambodia's fastest-growing seaside destinations, after Cambodia Angkor Air launched direct flights between the two cities on February 10.
The service becomes the third new international route introduced at the airport's Terminal 3 this year. The route operates three times a week, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
With a flight time of about three hours, the new service offers a quicker link between southern China and Cambodia's coastline, connecting travelers to Sihanoukville, known for its resort developments, clear beaches such as Ochheuteal and Sokha, and nearby islands including Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem, which are popular for swimming, water sports, and leisure travel.
