Direct flight to the Sahara! Guangzhou-Algiers direct route launches

On October 28, the direct flight route between Algiers, the capital of Africa's largest country Algeria, and Guangzhou was officially inaugurated with the arrival of Air Algérie flight AH3180 at Baiyun International Airport.

According to Air Algérie, the Guangzhou route is operated by the next-generation Airbus A330-900 aircraft, featuring full-flat business class seats and high-definition entertainment systems. The flight from Algiers to Guangzhou takes approximately 12 hours, while the return flight from Guangzhou to Algiers takes about 15 hours.

The new service will operate three times per week. Departing from Guangzhou at 6:25 a.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the flight arrives in Algiers at 2:25 p.m. the same day. The return flight departs from Algiers at 9:40 a.m., arriving in Guangzhou at 4:55 a.m. the following day (local time) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
