A bustling construction scene recently unfolded at the key node of the Maoming Avenue Rapid Transformation Project (Phase III)—the construction site of the Dayuan Road and Shuangshan Road Tunnel Interchange. Significant progress has been made in both tunnel interchanges, with the main support systems taking initial shape.
The Provincial Highway S280 (Maoming Avenue Rapid Transformation) Phase III project, with a total investment of 1.408 billion yuan, features a core design comprising a series of interchanges at Dayuan Road, Guanshan + Youcheng Road, and Shuangshan Road. Among these, the tunnel interchanges at Dayuan Road and Shuangshan Road had their east-west traffic closed in August this year. Efforts are now fully focused on accelerating the construction of the main underground tunnel structures.
