China Southern Airlines will launch a daily service between Guangzhou and Macao on December 10, adding a new air link between the two cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The route will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. Flight CZ5013 will depart Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 7:20 a.m. and arrive at Macao International Airport at 8:25 a.m. The return flight, CZ5014, will leave Macao at 6:40 p.m. and land in Guangzhou at 7:45 p.m. Reservations for the new route will only be available as part of connecting itineraries with the airline's other flights via Guangzhou.
From December 10, the airline will also revise its existing Macao-Beijing Daxing service, scheduling flights from Macao to Beijing in the morning and return flights in the afternoon. The changes will add a morning departure option for passengers travelling from Macao to Beijing and link the route with the new Guangzhou-Macao service.
The new route will give passengers from other Chinese mainland cities and overseas destinations another option for reaching Macao via Guangzhou, while allowing travellers departing from Macao to connect to the airline's wider domestic and international network.
