Pingsha-Hengqin commute bus line to launch on August 4

The new commuter bus to the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone (Pingsha-Hengqin Line) is scheduled to begin operations on August 4.

According to the initial plan, the morning departure is at 07:10 from Jinghuajiariwan (京華假日灣) in Pingsha Town, Zhuhai, with stops at Hengqin Bridge South, Hengqin International Commerce Center (ICC), and Hengqin Railway Station, before arriving at Hengqin Wharf. The return trip in the evening starts at 18:05 from Hengqin Wharf and ends at Jinghuajiariwan (京華假日灣).

During the pre-sale period, passengers can reserve tickets in advance via the "Tongqinhao (通琴號)" WeChat mini-program. Route operations will commence once ticket reservations reach 75% of the bus's capacity.

The final route plan will be optimized based on passenger feedback and real-time operational data. The official launch of the service will depend on operational performance during the first month.

"Tongqinhao (通琴號)" is a government-subsidized commuter program launched by the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, offering convenient, point-to-point cross-district commuter bus services for residents and employees in both Hengqin and Macao.

All routes are serviced by coaches with one seat per passenger. Upon successful registration and verification (within five working days), passengers will automatically receive government-issued commuter coupons. City routes cost only 3 yuan per ride with coupons (for enterprise employees only), while cross-region routes are free of charge.
