Chinese low-cost carrier 9 Air will launch a daily Yinchuan-Guangzhou-Singapore service from August 10 this year, further expanding air links between China and Singapore. The new route will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with flight numbers AQ1275 and AQ1276. It will provide a direct connection between northwest China and Singapore via Guangzhou, adding fresh capacity to the busy Guangzhou-Singapore market. 9 Air is a Guangzhou-based low-cost airline and a subsidiary of Juneyao Air.

The launch comes amid a significant increase in capacity on the Guangzhou-Singapore route. With 9 Air's new service, the Guangzhou-Singapore market is expected to reach as many as 66 flights per week, with up to 10 departures a day at peak frequency. This reinforces Guangzhou's position as one of the largest gateways between China and Southeast Asia.

The expanded schedule aims to support growing demand for business, tourism, and transit travel between China and Singapore, while offering passengers from western and southern China a wider range of travel options.
