Guangzhou's Parc Central shopping mall will launch a matcha-themed market from July 10 to 12, offering exclusive free matcha treats to South readers.

As part of the mall's summer series, the market will offer 13 complimentary matcha items exclusively to South readers on a first-come, first-served basis. Readers can register via the information card at the end of this article. The first 13 registrants will receive a text message with redemption instructions, and each eligible reader can redeem one free matcha item on-site at the market.

The market, free and open to the public, will run daily from 12:00 to 20:00 at the East Rooftop Garden on Level 3 of Parc Central. It brings together 40 matcha brands from 15 cities across China, showcasing more than 100 creative matcha products, from light, refreshing teas to rich, savory treats. Six participating brands are making their debut in Guangzhou.

Beyond tasting, visitors can join stamp rally lucky draws, matcha-themed scavenger hunts, and giveaways featuring Labubu toys.

The matcha market is the first of four themed summer events at Parc Central. Upcoming markets include a butter and cheese fair (July 24 to 26), a summer dessert festival (August 7 to 9), and a lava-filled treats market (August 19 to 23). Each of the three upcoming events will also offer 13 free single-item spots to South readers, with registration details to be announced in separate coverage before each market. Stay tuned for more updates.
