As spring brings warmer days, the mulberry planting base in Duli Village, Antang Subdistrict, Yuncheng District, Yunfu City (云浮市云城区安塘街都栗村), is entering its peak harvest season. Neat rows of mulberry trees stretch across the fields, their branches heavy with glossy, dark-purple fruit.

Spanning 15 mu (10,000 square meters), the planting base is home to more than 2,000 trees, with total output expected to reach around 20,000 kilograms this year. The picking season runs from now through late April. Beyond fresh fruit, the village has developed a range of products, including mulberry wine, mulberry juice, and dried mulberries.

Adding to the experience this year is a newly opened café set inside a century-old Diaolou, a traditional fortified watchtower. Here, visitors can pick fruit, stroll among the blossoms, and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the blend of heritage architecture and contemporary lifestyle.
Now that the mulberries are at their sweetest, Duli Village awaits with the promise of fresh flavors and springtime charm.
