From November 28-30, 2025, the 13th Qingyuan Chicken Carnival will take place at Nanmen Street (南门街), Qingyuan City! This year, the carnival is not just about the chicken—the fun is taking flight!
The carnival celebrates the star of the show: the renowned Qingyuan chicken—a treasured local specialty of Guangdong. It's famous for its tender, smooth meat, crisp skin, soft bones, and exceptionally rich and savory flavor.
Over 20 RV bloggers from across the country, more than 20 vendors from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and over 40 local Qingyuan heritage brands will come together for the event. Each stall features Qingyuan chicken elements, with creative installations such as "RV Chicken" and "Free-Range Chicken." Meanwhile, the Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology will perform Yingge Dance, while local enterprises will showcase Yao ethnic dance.
Additionally, Qingyuan chicken-themed cultural and creative products will be on full display: plush "Xiao Qing" dolls, adorable keychains, refrigerator magnets, and stylish backpacks—all bursting with chicken charm.
