As summer heat settles in, eagle-beak peaches have entered harvest season at a growing base in Songmu Village, Lingbei Town, Yangshan County, Qingyuan. Covering 400 mu (about 26.7 hectares), the orchards are heavy with ripe fruit, and this year's yield is expected to reach 100,000 kilograms, up 20 percent from last year.

Known for their distinctive pointed shape, thin skin, and crisp, juicy flesh, eagle-beak peaches thrive in the area's abundant sunshine and favorable growing conditions. An orchard manager said mild weather and careful cultivation this year have produced fruit that stands out for its appearance, sweetness, and texture.

The picking season runs from July to August. Visitors can pick fresh peaches in the orchards or place orders online for home delivery. The harvest has created jobs for local villagers and become an important source of income for the community.
