Looking for somewhere to eat, wander and soak up the Mid-Autumn atmosphere in Shenzhen? From September 25 to September 27, the Michelin Guide Food Festival Shenzhen 2026 will bring 12 Michelin-selected restaurants from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to MixC Walk at Shenzhen MixC.
The three-day event is a chance to sample dishes from Michelin-starred restaurants without sitting down for a full restaurant meal, and to pair food with moonlit walks, art installations and evening light shows.
With 12 Michelin-selected restaurants on one street, the main attraction is, of course, the food. The lineup includes two two-Michelin-starred restaurants, six one-Michelin-starred restaurants and four restaurants selected by the Michelin Guide. Chefs from several of the restaurants will be on site, serving specially selected dishes in a more casual street-food-style setting.

For visitors who want to try several restaurants in one evening, this is probably the easiest way to do it: walk, pick a few dishes, share them with friends and keep moving.
Food, movies and a Mid-Autumn night out
Around the MixC area, cinemas, restaurants and shops are joining forces with a ticket-sharing promotion. Visitors who attend the food festival can access selected cinema offers, while moviegoers can use eligible Mid-Autumn film tickets to unlock offers at participating restaurants.
In other words, you can turn the evening into a simple "movie, dinner, shopping and night walk" itinerary rather than making the food festival a standalone stop.
A "valley" in the middle of the city
The setting is designed around Luohu's distinctive mix of hills, water and dense urban development.
MixC Walk will become a temporary "green valley" of modular structures and installations. During the day, the space is designed to feel more like an urban garden; after dark, lighting turns it into a more atmospheric night-time setting.
For the Mid-Autumn Festival, the combination of moonlight, food and public art is part of the experience. It's also a convenient place to take a break between meals and explore the area on foot.
