Lu Bu and Diao Chan (Cantonese Opera), Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theatre

From February 19 to 21, the Cantonese Opera for the Chinese New Year presented by the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theatre will be staged at the Hongxiannyu Grand Theater. From the third day to the fifth day of the Chinese New Year, the operas The Magic Lotus Lantern, Lu Bu and Diao Chan, and Prince Rui and Concubine Zhuang will be performed in succession.

Tale of the Jade Hairpin and the Black Gauze Cap (Cantonese Opera), Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theatre

From February 19 to 22, the Cantonese Opera series for the Chinese New Year at the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theatre will feature four major productions at the Cantonese Opera Art Center, including Meeting on the Magpie Bridge, Tale of the Jade Hairpin and the Black Gauze Cap, Liu Jinding Crashes Four Gates, and Thunderous Battle Drums.

Here Comes the Princess (immersive interactive light Cantonese Opera), Quyi Garden at Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Center

From February 20 to 22, the immersive interactive light Cantonese opera Here Comes the Princess will be performed at the Quyi Garden at Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Center. The opera features the best friends of the princess engaging in a dialogue across time, injecting a youthful vibrancy into traditional Cantonese opera.

First stage play about "Greater Bay Chicken"

Additionally, the acrobatic fairy tale Sprouting Miracle, which innovatively blends acrobatic skills with dramatic narrative, marks the debut stage production of "Greater Bay Chicken" (Da Wan Ji). It will premiere at the Guangzhou Opera House on the fourth and fifth days of the Chinese New Year (from February 20 to February 21) for its official public run.

The classic Broadway comedy NANTA, the large-scale parent-child interactive textbook-based play Traveling with Textbooks, and the musical Time Agent will offer audiences a diverse range of artistic experiences.
