The 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is just around the corner. So how to get your overseas buyer badge? This is a handy guide for overseas buyers to make everything from "getting badges" to "entering the complex" as smooth and effortless as possible!
I. Required Documents
The overseas buyers should present any one of the following original ID documents:
Foreign Passport
Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents
Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents
Valid ID documents for overseas Chinese (a Chinese passport along with an overseas permanent residence permit or visa)

II. How to apply
1. Obtain the pre-registration receipt in the 4 steps as below
2. Verify your ID document information and collect your buyer badge
After obtaining the pre-registration receipt, overseas buyers should present their original ID documents, pre-registration receipt, and business card for verification. Once it is successfully verified, the buyer badge will be issued. For those who hold a foreign passport, a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, and choose to apply at an on-site registration office, it is recommended to use the self-service badge printing kiosk for ID verification and badge printing.
III. Where to apply
Applications can be accepted at the Canton Fair Complex and outside of the Complex.
For overseas buyers holding a foreign passport, a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, it is recommended to apply at an alternative registration office: The Canton Fair Hong Kong Office offers badge services all the year round. If you've already arrived in Guangzhou, you can receive badge services at major transport hubs such as airports, high-speed railway stations and Pazhou-Hong Kong -Macao passenger ferry terminal. There are also 60 designated hotels in the city to ensure that you can get your buyer badge wherever you are. For overseas Chinese buyers holding a Chinese passport along with an original overseas permanent residence permit or visa, please go directly to the on-site registration office at the Canton Fair Complex. You can get your buyer badge rapidly and conveniently!

Location 1: Exit A7, International Arrivals, Terminal 1
Service Hours: October 12- November 18:00 - 24:00
Location 2: Temporary Counter, International Arrivals, Terminal 2
Service Hours: October 12- November 1: 8:00 - 24:00
Nighttime Registration Hours: October 14-15, October 22-23 and October 30-31: 24:00 - 8:00 (next day)
Guangzhou South Railway Station Registration Office
Location: Service Desks at East and West Entrances, First Floor
Service Hours: October 13-16, October 21-24, October 30 -November 1: 10:00 – 21:00
Pazhou-Hong Kong-Macao Passenger Ferry Terminal Registration Office
Location: Immigration, Third Floor.
Service Hours: October 14-18, October 22-26, October 30-November 1: 10:00 - 20:00
Canton Fair Hong Kong Office Registration Office
Location: Room 3106-3107, Office Tower, Convention Plaza, No.1 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
Service Hours: On weekdays throughout the year, from 10:00 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:00

IV. Overseas Buyer Badge Fee
Applying for, replacing, or renewing your badge is free of charge.
Reminder: The Canton Fair has never authorized any third-party organizations or individuals to provide badge-related services. Aside from the fees announced by the Canton Fair, no additional charges will be imposed. Please remain vigilant and apply for your badge through official channels only.
