From April 4 to 6, 2026, the 3rd "Global Bay Area Chorus Bridge" Sino–American Youth Choral Education Symposium was held in Guangzhou. Organized by Guangdong Experimental High School (GEHS), this event featured Francisco J. Núñez, artistic director of the Young People's Chorus of New York City (YPC), and Elizabeth Núñez, creative director of the YPC. They traveled to Guangzhou to lead a series of in-person workshops, making the seminar a vibrant platform for exchange and collaboration.

The event also brought together aesthetic education practitioners from eastern, western, and northern Guangdong, as well as remote areas across the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.

Launched in 2023, the program has now been held for three consecutive years. At this year's seminar, the two experts delivered public welfare masterclasses tailored to different primary and secondary school levels. They coached the GEHS Choir on mixed and male voice repertoire, encouraging exploration of diverse musical styles; enhanced stage presence and ensemble collaboration for the Liwan Children's Choir; and designed interactive, play-based sessions for lower-grade students of GEHS Liwan School No.1 Primary Division to spark their artistic interest. Rejecting rigid, mechanical instruction, their teaching emphasized "connecting voice with the soul", unlocking students' potential through encouragement and engagement.

This October, the GEHS Choir will travel to New York to host the 4th edition of the event, continuing to advance cultural and people-to-people exchanges between Chinese and American youth.
