A delegation of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture visited Lingnan Normal University in Zhanjiang on March 17 to strengthen collaboration between the two universities and to advance China–Belarus educational cooperation.

The delegation led by Repkin Sergey Borisovich, President of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, along with Kostyeva Natalia Vladimirovna, the Belarusian Director of the Confucius Institute, toured the Lingnanb Normal University library, the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory for the Development and Education of Special Children, the Biological Science Popularization Center, and the Digital Intelligent Culinary (Robotics) Training Laboratory.
Both sides held in-depth discussions on key areas of cooperation, including the development of the China–Belarus Digital Sports Research Center, preparations for the Second China–Belarus International Forum on Sports and Cultural Development, celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the Confucius Institute, and the expansion of joint preparatory education programs.
The jointly established Confucius Institute now operates nine teaching sites, has enrolled more than 5,000 students, organized nearly 500 cultural events, and benefited over 680,000 participants. The two universities have also founded the China–Belarus Center for Cultural and Philosophical Studies and the China–Belarus Digital Sports Research Center, promoted joint preparatory training programs, and hosted international academic conferences.
