Two gold medals were claimed in the men's and women's singles finals of the 15th National Games tennis competition at the Hengqin International Tennis Center on November 20.
In the men's singles final, Zhejiang's Wu Yibing defeated Beijing's Shang Juncheng 6-0, 1-6, 6-4 to win his first National Games gold medal. Shang Juncheng, who had earlier won the youth team gold medal, took silver in the men's singles. Hong Kong's Wong Chak Lam and Guangxi's Zhou Yi both earned bronze.
Anhui's Zhu Lin defeated Beijing's Gao Xinyu 2-0 to win the gold medal in the women's singles event. This marks the first National Games tennis gold for Anhui Province. Guangdong's Wang Xinyu and Tianjin's Yang Yidi finished with bronze medals.
