2025 Guangdong Junior Tennis Championship to kick off in Hengqin

From August 10 to 17, the 2025 Guangdong Provincial Junior Tennis Championship—also serving as the test event for the tennis competitions of the 15th National Games—will light up the courts at Hengqin International Tennis Center.

Scheduled for November 9 to 21 across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, the 15th National Games will feature tennis matches from November 9 to 20 in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. This August tournament serves as a crucial rehearsal for the main games.

The event includes 25 competitions across singles, doubles, and team categories in four age divisions. A total of 584 junior athletes from 23 teams representing 19 Guangdong cities—including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Jiangmen, and Qingyuan—will compete for top honors.

Organizers will conduct thorough evaluations of venue facilities, competition management, security protocols, medical support, and volunteer services.

Since 2024, Hengqin International Tennis Center has enhanced its sports specifications, venue intelligence systems, tournament equipment, and supporting facilities. Core infrastructure renovations are now nearly complete.
