Shaoguan's 19-year-old Zeng Liang wins pole vault gold at Asian U20 Championships

The 22nd Asian U20 Athletics Championships 2026 recently concluded at Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground in Hong Kong. Zeng Liang, a 19-year-old athlete from Qujiang, Shaoguan, delivered a steady performance in the men's pole vault final, clearing 5.45 meters to claim gold. The victory placed him on top of the Asian podium and brought further honor to China, particularly to Shaoguan, Guangdong.
