The 2025 Gaozhou "Village BA" Basketball League officially kicked off at the Lychee Paradise in Genzi Town, Gaozhou, Maoming, on the evening of July 27. The opening ceremony featured star performances and dynamic robot dance shows, setting an energetic tone for the tournament.
Now in its second year, the league has become a major sporting event for local residents. This year's edition includes 28 teams competing in 99 games over 60 days.
