Registration for the 2026 Guangzhou Marathon opened at 10 a.m. on September 2, with an entry quota of 30,000 participants. The race is scheduled for December 20.
The race will follow its classic route from Tianhe Sports Center (天河体育中心) to Haixinsha (海心沙), offering runners views of Guangzhou's iconic landmarks and cityscape along the way.
