On August 10, the "China Telecom Cup · 2025 National Women's Volleyball Championship" kicked off at the Shunde Desheng Sports Center and will run until August 18. The event is hosted by the Volleyball Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and organized by Foshan Shunde Huati Desheng Sports Center Co., Ltd.

As one of China's top-tier women's volleyball events, this year's championship brings together 15 elite teams from across the country. Traditional powerhouses like Jiangsu, Tianjin, and Shanghai will compete, promising thrilling matches for volleyball fans.
Olympic champions Ding Xia and Zhang Changning will also make appearances at this championship.
The tournament features a combined group round-robin and knockout format, with 50 exciting matches scheduled over eight days.
Many volleyball fans choose to watch the games on site.
There will be 50 matches held over the 8-day schedule.
Shunde Desheng Sports Center, the event venue, features professional courts that meet international standards and top-tier facilities. To give back to fans, tickets are priced at just 30 yuan for a one-day pass covering both venues.
Shunde Desheng Sports Center will also host the women's adult basketball and football events of the 15th National Games.
The 15th National Games will take place later this year in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, with Foshan serving as one of the host cities. According to the schedule, the Shunde Desheng Sports Center gymnasium will host the women's adult basketball and football competitions.
