As night falls over Kangli Village in Magang Town, Maoming City, Guangdong Province, the lights of the "Village BA" basketball court shine brightly. On July 25, the opening match of the 3rd Town Street Basketball League in Dianbai District kicked off here. Amidst the cheers, this event represents not just a celebration of rural sports, but also the story of the village's remarkable transformation.

The pastoral scenery of Kangli Village.
Once, the village was characterized by disordered farmhouses. Today, 242 farmhouses have been given a unified look, over a hundred courtyards are adorned with flowers and plants, and the paved village roads are clean and tidy. "Opening the door to see greenery" has become a daily reality. A villager remarked, "We can play with our children, drink tea, and play chess after meals. Life is much more comfortable now."

Kangli Village has built tourism-supporting facilities such as food courts and homestays.
Outside the court, booths showcasing local specialties such as agarwood and taro are bustling with activity, and the temporary night market is alive with energy. This village, once reliant on scattered farming, now adopts the "enterprise + cooperative + farmer" model, enabling 450 households to share the benefits of an annual output value of 930,000 yuan.
