Guangdong put on an impressive show at the skateboarding finals of the 15th National Games, held in the southeastern city of Huizhou, clinching three golds, one silver, and one bronze in a dominant display.
The finals, which took place on November 11, featured four events: men's and women's park, and men's and women's street.
The day started strongly for the host team as Chen Ye secured the first gold of the competition in the men's park final. Not long after, Zou Mingke from Guangdong, making her National Games debut, edged out Shandong's Meng Lingyan in a tight contest to claim the women's park title, adding a second gold for Guangdong.

The host team's momentum continued into the afternoon when Pan Jiajie, a well-known name in Chinese skateboarding, dominated the men's street final, sealing a third straight gold for Guangdong and completing a sweep of the first three events.
In the final event of the day, Zhu Yuanling of Guangdong took home silver in the women's street final.
Also drawing attention at the event was Zheng Haohao, a local skater from Huizhou City. At just 11 years old, Zheng was the youngest member of Team China at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where she finished 18th in the women's park preliminaries. This time, competing on home ground, she earned a bronze medal in the women's park final.
