Youth swimming competition held in Guangdong's Huizhou

The 2025 "Jidong Cup" Sixth Youth (Summer) Swimming Open Competition, themed "Swimming in E-Cheng," officially opened at the Jinshan Lake Swimming and Diving Pavilion in Huicheng District, Huizhou City, South China's Guangdong Province. The event was held under the guidance of the Huicheng District Sports Association and organized by the Huicheng District Swimming Association.

This year's competition drew significant attention, attracting 527 young athletes from 19 teams across various counties and districts of Huizhou. Over the course of the event, swimmers competed in eight age groups for both boys and girls: U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12–13, and U14–17.

A total of 40 individual races were held, featuring 50-meter and 100-meter events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle—offering a comprehensive test of the athletes' technique, speed, and endurance.

After a full day of exciting and high-energy competition, final team rankings were determined among the 19 participating teams, marking a successful conclusion to a spirited celebration of youth athleticism and community sportsmanship in Huicheng.
