On the morning of August 2, an immersive emergency power supply drill was conducted at the International Tennis Center in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. This rehearsal aimed to ensure a flawless electricity provision for the upcoming tennis test event of the 15th National Games, scheduled to commence at the venue on August 10.
The one-hour drill demonstrated seamless coordination among the power supply, firefighting, and venue management teams. A unified on-site command center directed operations, with all personnel executing clearly defined roles, standardized procedures, and efficient communication—successfully achieving the exercise's objectives. The joint effort significantly enhanced collaboration between the power security team, venue operators, and fire departments, laying a solid foundation for a stable and secure electricity supply during the tennis test event.
The 15th National Games will be jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao from November 9 to 21, 2025. Tennis competitions will take place at the Hengqin International Tennis Center from November 9 to 20.
