
The 2026 Heyuan Tour of Wanlü Lake International Road Cycling Race will kick off on April 12, with registration for the recreational category now open. Riders are invited to immerse themselves in Heyuan's vibrant spring scenery while embracing the thrill of the ride.
This event boasts a top-tier lineup, with six UCI Continental teams, two provincial professional squads, and three of China's leading professional club teams, all set to compete in Heyuan. A recreational category has also been introduced, offering amateur riders a chance to join the race and enjoy the sport amid natural surroundings.

Starting Point: Qizhaihu Park, Heyuan City (河源市七寨湖公园)
Professional Category (128 km): Open to 11 professional teams
Recreational Category (41.5 km): Open to cycling enthusiasts aged 18–55
Recreational Route (41.5 km): Five laps around Qizhaihu Park, winding through lush greenery with moderate difficulty

Wanlü Lake, a national 5A scenic spot—the highest official rating for tourist sites in China, signifying exceptional quality and service—is home to more than 360 green islands set amid clear blue waters. Beyond the race, visitors can explore Hakka culture while taking in the area's scenic landscapes and pristine natural environment.
