On August 10, the tennis test event for China's 15th National Games kicked off at the Hengqin International Tennis Center. A total of 584 young tennis players from 23 teams across 19 cities in Guangdong gathered in Hengqin to compete in 25 events over eight days.
The 15th National Games will be jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao from November 9 to 21. Hengqin will host the tennis competitions for the high-performance sport category at the Hengqin International Tennis Center.
The test event runs from August 10 to 17, with participating athletes aged between 11 and 18 divided into four age groups. Both the men's and women's competitions feature singles, doubles, and team events.
Strictly aligned with the standards of the National Games competition, the test event will examine key aspects such as venue facilities, competition organization, security, medical services, and volunteer support.
