China held an event to mark the 100-day countdown to the opening of China's 15th National Games in South China's Shenzhen on August 2.
Zhou Guoqiang, Deputy General Manager of the Cloud & Network Development Department in China Telecom Guangdong Branch, emphasized the company's implementation of its "Cloud-Intelligent Transformation" strategy to ensure the security of the 15th National Games venues. Using 5G-A and BeiDou positioning systems, the company established a low-altitude security network with smart sensing capabilities to monitor aerial objects, thus safeguarding the "Low-Altitude Security" of the Games' venues.
The 15th National Games and the National Para Games, jointly hosted by Guangdong Province, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR, will be held from November 9 to 21 and from December 8 to 15 this year, respectively.
