On the afternoon of September 6, the closing ceremony of the 10th Guangdong Provincial Games for Persons with Disabilities was held at the Maoming Olympic Sports Center. The ceremony comprised sporting formalities and a cultural performance.
Delegations from 21 prefecture-level cities took part in this edition of the Games. The competition featured 24 major sports, 26 sub-disciplines and 1,107 events, drawing more than 2,200 athletes.
During the flag-handover segment, the official flag of the Guangdong Provincial Games for Persons with Disabilities was passed to Shanwei, the host city of the next edition.
