On November 13, the individual tennis events of the 15th National Games officially commenced at the Hengqin International Tennis Center. The events featured the first round of men's and women's singles matches, with many top domestic players making their debut at the Games and a series of exciting matches unfolding one after another.

Starting at 10:00 AM, the men's singles first round began simultaneously on nine courts. The match between top seed Bu Yunchaokete from Zhejiang and Sun Qian from Jiangsu took place on the center court, while local Guangdong player and 11th seed Mo Yecong faced Lin Jingyao from Shanxi on Court 1.
Other seeded players, including Xiao Lin'ang from Shanghai and Wang Aoran from Tianjin, also made their appearances.
In the women's singles, second seed Yuan Yue from Guangdong was the first to take the court, securing an easy victory by defeating Zhang Jiale from Shandong 6:0, 6:0. When asked about her expectations for the National Games as a local player, Yuan Yue expressed her hope to achieve good results for her team.
Third seed Zhu Lin from Anhui defeated Li Yuyao from Guangdong 6:3, 6:2, successfully advancing to the next round. Player Zheng Qinwen from Hubei withdrew from the women's singles and doubles events before the matches due to her injury not being fully recovered.
According to the schedule, the tennis singles competitions of the 15th National Games continued on November 14. Concurrently, the first round of the doubles events also began, featuring the top-seeded men's doubles pair from Guangdong, Zeng Yaojie and Yang Zijiang.
